Material info
Heat-treated wood
Compared to ordinary timber, heat treatment improves the wood's rot resistance and reduces moisture-related movement. Heat-treated wood is particularly used in saunas and garden structures.
Composite
Composite is a modern and easy-care choice. As a material, composite contains wood and plastic. It feels natural underfoot and withstands wear well.
Organowood
OrganoWood's special wood protection technique mimics the natural fossilization process, allowing the wood to grey beautifully naturally. The wood coating uses only non-toxic natural minerals.
Larch
Siberian larch is the choice of ecological builders as it is naturally rot-resistant and easily recyclable material. The brown or reddish-brown color of Siberian larch can be preserved with special treatment or allowed to grey beautifully naturally.
Pressure-impregnated wood
Pressure-impregnated or impregnation wood is suitable when the terrace is particularly exposed to weather conditions. In impregnation wood, the chemical protection penetrates through the surface layer susceptible to rot.
